Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Location: Fort Mill, SC

Type: Full Time

Salary: $85k/year

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and self-motivated Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction. If you are looking to be part of a dynamic and experienced construction team, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial building projects, ensuring timely completion and staying within budget.
  • Utilize a comprehensive understanding of construction means and methods, contracts, estimates, project plans, schedules, specifications, and change orders.
  • Manage and lead project teams, including subcontractors, inspectors, vendors, and suppliers to drive project success.
  • Mitigate risks and be responsible for the overall project performance.
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date project management reports.
  • Regularly update project documentation, photos, and reports within management software. Ensure clear communication between the owner, architect, and contractor.
  • Ensure project stays within budget and scope while meeting deadlines.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols, ensuring job sites adhere to OSHA safety standards. Oversee Safety and Quality Control policies and procedures.
  • Travel to various project sites regularly and attend in-house and client meetings as necessary.
  • Participate in project owner’s meetings and collaborate with team members to ensure timely project updates and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with the Construction Manager, Vice President, Owner, Architect, Engineers, and other team members to keep all parties informed and aligned.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills, problem-solving abilities, leadership qualities, a positive attitude, and a strong sense of teamwork.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction project management experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification required.
  • Proficient in construction-related software. Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Suretrak, Bluebeam, and Excel is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to perform physical site inspections, including walking sites, lifting up to 100lbs, climbing ladders, and working with tools.
